Share and back controls lose their circles.
A new share glyph across the app, and a back chevron is never drawn inside a circle again. Two controls that had been competing with everything around them now read as themselves.

Pace groups on a meet-up.
A meet-up can carry pace groups, so riders pick the wheel they want before anyone turns up, and the organiser edits the groups from the meet-up console. Milestone pins now snap to the route, so the direction arrow cannot quietly vanish when the route moves.

Meet-ups get a create flow of their own, and Milestones.
Setting a meet-up up is a short form that ends in a read-only page showing the route, the meeting point and the time. Every meet-up can carry Milestones, which render as calm landmarks rather than race gates, and a weekly meet-up repeats with its Milestones intact until you choose to stop the series.

The club ride becomes a meet-up, and it leaves a recap.
Meet-ups are their own thing across the app, with a tab that never mixes them in with events, and the ones your club runs show up for you whether or not you go looking. A club ride records as it rolls and produces a recap at the end, with a ghost of the last time you rode it to measure against.

The app follows your system text size.
Set the text larger on Android or on the web and Aster follows it, rather than holding every label at the size we picked. The battery picker also gained a line under each mode saying what that mode is for.

Catch up on a live event you joined late.
Open any live event and Catch up plays the field forward from the start using the real recorded positions, then hands you back to the live map once you are level with it. Riders bunched together render as a labelled pack you can tap open rather than collapsing into one overlapping mark.

The live distance readout stops running ahead of the ride.
A GPS jump, or the gap either side of a resume, was being counted as ground covered, so the number on the Go Live screen crept above the real distance. Those jumps are now discarded, and the window that catches them was widened afterwards so a very long day is not under-counted instead.

A live event anyone can watch, without an account.
A permanent showcase event sits on the home feed with a field moving on it, so someone who has never used Aster can see what watching a race actually looks like before signing up to anything. Close the card and it stays closed.
- Reliability
The tracking notification gets one button, and it only opens the app.
The notification that sits in your tray while you record now carries a single Finish action, and all it does is open the end screen where the slide control lives. It never stops the recording itself, so a pocket tap on a lock screen cannot end your ride, and any other action a phone maker injects is ignored.
- Marketing
Pricing on the site says what the app charges.
The public pricing page and the FAQ were still describing a retired per-event fee model. Both now describe the current shape, which is free publishing with a registration cap on the free tier and organiser plans that raise the cap. The first-event explainer inside the app was describing the retired model too, and no longer does.

A polish pass across the app.
Initials fill the gap for athletes without a photo, the stat bar on a profile is tappable and jumps to the matching list, and the first-ride nudge disappears once you have actually finished something. The end control names the format you are on, and the currently-active strip on Home drops athletes who have already finished.

Following anyone is free, and stays free.
Follows are unlimited and cost nothing, and Aster Plus is for joining clubs beyond the free three rather than for anything you were already doing. The app also asks for location permission when you open Go Live rather than at the moment you press start, so the GPS is warm and the countdown does not stall on a dialog.
