To create and run events you need a host (the brand that puts on your events). That's usually an organiser account (your club, race series or company), and it's separate from your personal profile so more than one person can help run it.
Anyone can create one. There's no application or approval step.
Create an organiser account
- From your profile, choose to Create organiser account.
- Give it a name and a @handle (the app checks the handle is free as you type).
- Add the optional extras: a logo, a banner, a description and a website. (The create form is deliberately light: social links are added later when you edit the organiser profile. See Your organiser profile and sponsors.)
- You're now the owner of that account and can create events under it.
You can own or admin more than one organiser account, for example if you run several separate series.
Hosting events from a team
A team or club can also host events. If you run a club on Aster, you can create members-only rides and events under it directly, no separate organiser account needed. See Teams and clubs.
Good to know: these are two different money models, and it's worth keeping them apart. An organiser account's events need an Event Organiser subscription before they can take any registrations at all — there's no free allowance. A club's activities are never billed against that organiser tier; instead, a small club is free under a separate club tier, with members of an open club joining on their own Aster Plus. Which model applies is decided by who's hosting (organiser account vs. team), not by the event's format — a club can host a full race or time trial under the club model, and an organiser account's meet-up is still billed as an organiser event.
You pick the host (organiser account or team) when you create an event, and it can't be changed afterwards, so pick the right one at the start.
Your public organiser page
Each organiser account gets a public page at its handle (…/orgs/yourhandle)
showing your logo, description, website and social links, your verified badge
(if you have one), and your public and unlisted events. People can follow your
organiser account to be notified when you publish new events. See

Choosing a plan
The Run events with Aster page (reachable from your profile) is where you compare plans, sized by how many registrations a single event can take (100, 500 or 1,000, or contact Aster for a larger enterprise plan), and where you subscribe. It's the same page whether you're just starting out or already running events — once you have a subscription and an organiser account, it becomes a shortcut back to creating your next event. Verification
A verified badge signals to athletes that an organiser is the genuine article. Verification is granted by the Aster team. Anyone can create an account, but the badge is added by us. If you'd like to be verified, get in touch; you may be asked for a few details about your organisation and your events.
Who can manage your events
Anyone you add as an admin of the organiser account can create and manage its events. Individual events can also have their own admins. This lets you share race-day duties across a team without sharing one login.
