Verified status marks a team as a genuine professional or elite outfit. It's a reviewed identity badge, granted by Aster — free, and completely separate from Aster Plus, which individual athletes choose for club membership.
Verified/pro vs an ordinary club

Every club, verified or not, gets the same free tools — the pro badge is about identity, not extra features. A team can be verified or not; a local club doesn't need to be "pro" for any of its club tools.
Apply for verified status
- Open your team's page — only the team owner can apply.
- Choose the pro/verified application and describe why the team qualifies (at least a few sentences), with links to evidence — UCI registration, race results, press, the team site.
- Aster reviews the application and you'll hear back either way. If the team is already verified, there's nothing to apply for.
What members get
Athletes on a verified team carry the pro flag on their own profiles while they're on the roster, and the team can show its sponsor strip on its page.
Good to know: because joining an application-type verified team can carry the pro badge onto a new member, a verified team's invite link is deliberately tighter than an ordinary club's — 25 joins and a 30-day expiry, instead of 1,000 joins that never expire. Nothing else about membership changes; if a link stops working, generate a fresh one.
